The Mediterranean Beach Hotel, one of Limassol’s most beloved 4-star resorts, underwent a complete transformation in 2022 — a project that called for speed, sophistication, and design clarity under extraordinary global conditions.
Led by Xenia Lazarevica and her team XENA INTERIOR VISIONS the renovation was commissioned at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. With strict timelines, global supply challenges, and health-related constraints, the project demanded both creative agility and operational excellence.
290 Rooms, 13,000 SQM, 4 Months
The scale was significant: 290 rooms across 13,000 square meters, including Deluxe, Family, Luxury, and Superior categories — all completed in just four months. Despite international restrictions and logistical hurdles, the design team delivered a full guestroom renovation with fire- and wear-resistant materials, cutting-edge layout planning, and a refined, Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic.
Inspired by Cyprus’s natural palette — sun-washed tones, sea blues, and soft textures — the design concept brought a fresh identity to each room. The emphasis was on space ergonomics, comfort, and light. Relaxed textures and custom furniture were balanced by clean lines and luxurious details, resulting in rooms that feel calm, elegant, and built to last.
